Elnathan Mews on BBC News!

As Elnathan Mews has been nominated as one of the entrants for this year's "Conservation Foundation Green Corners Award", a BBC crew came to the Mews on August 8th to film our fantastic planting! They interviewed James Roosevelt to get the scoop on the great gardening efforts which have taken place in recent years, and the piece was broadcast on both the lunchtime and the 6:30 BBC London news that same day. We will upload a copy of the video here soon!

In the meantime, check out this BBC London News web page where you'll find the 'before' and 'after' pictures of the mews which prompted BBC to contact us and ask to film!

AGM 2007

The 2007 AGM of Elnathan Mews Management Limited was held at St. Saviour's School, Shirland Road on Wednesday 18th April 2007.

All residents of the Mews (owners, tenants - all residents) were invited and encouraged to come to the meeting. It was a great opportunity to learn what is going on in the Mews and to meet your neighbours!

In September 2006, Elnathan Mews was announced as the winner of the 2006 Lurot Brand "Mews in Bloom" competition. A plaque has been added to the wall at the Formosa Street entrance to mark this fantastic achievement!

Hugest thanks and congratulations must go to the Mews Gardening Committee led by Francine Elliott-Foster, and our gardener, Adrian Hunter-Johnson whose efforts resulted in a fantastic first place win! In addition many residents went to great efforts to plant window boxes and added planters and pots in front of their respective houses and there is no doubt that all this cheerful work led to our winning of the award. Let's keep up the good work through 2007!

The competition was again judged by Candida Lycett Green, the author of several gardening books including 'The Garden at Highgrove' which was co-authored with HRH Prince Charles.
